This time I am finally satisfied but until now my Bowker experience has been poor, largely stemming from poor pre-sale vehicle prep. Missing digital key card, non-working rear radar.

Work ok. Receptionist got us worried. Said a waiting upgrade would take 4 hr 40 mins. Suggested we walk to service area down road. We are both 78 yrs old and cannot walk that far. A manager john saved the day and drove us there and picked us up.

Following initial contact with the branch at Blackburn concerning my newly fitted BMW magic eye dash camera it was requested that we attend the branch for the team to solve the issue with the camera. On the visit, the issue was quickly resolved

I was asked if I wanted my car cleaned and as I had made a long journey the day before it did need a clean. When i was told it was ready it was still wet and dirty. By the time I got home it was covered in water marks and i cleaned it myself.

Expensive repairs; vehicle had to be kept overnight as parts unavailable and wasn't effectively communicated. A further delay in repairs meant another overnight stay at the garage. Don't think the vehicle was vacuum cleaned despite being offered.

You tried to sell me 4 new tyres. When I had 1 tyre less than a month old. I was told that it was unsafe and wouldn't pass an MOT. I went back to the tyre specialists for a second opinion. They reviewed the video and checked all tyres and said all ok

The dealership refused to process a repair which was cover by my comprehensive BMW warranty. I'm currently struggling to see any benefit in using the BMW's main dealerships for servicing or takings out BMW's extended warranty.

Disappointed again I was informed that the passenger rear tyre need to be changed as it was marked red by the technician and would fail an MoT I visited 2 tyre specialists one national and an important who said the car would pass MOT & fit to drive

Dash cam enquiry dealt with promptly efficiently. Service follow up good. Other issues picked up/additional work agreed and done. Not 5 stars had to keep car overnight no wiper blades in stock/poor guidance on using dash cam/invoice over charged.

Everything was fine until the rep mentioned i need to pay an hrs labour to get a software installed. In my initial call this wasn't mentioned so not sure why the tune had changed when I turned up to the showroom. Not a great look.
